Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-08
VidPlus ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we share it and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Information you provide | Account credentials, email address, available source uploads, feedback and feature requests, versioned creation-agreement receipts, content reports and their contact details and signatures, payment details (handled by third-party processors) |
| Social sign-in data | If you sign in with Google or X, we receive your provider account ID, profile name and image, and email address if shared. |
| Content data | Generation prompts, Create chat names, uploaded images and AI-Generated Content |
| Automatically collected data | IP address, browser type, device identifiers, log files, usage statistics, cookies |
| Derived data | Embeddings, model outputs, analytics |
2. How We Use Information
- Provide & operate the Service and generate AI-Generated Content.
- Process payments and manage one-time credit purchases and optional auto-refills.
- Test and improve Service quality and features through quality assurance. Authorized staff may review prompts and submitted or generated media, including private creations, for quality assurance, safety, support and abuse investigation. Review without visible account attribution does not anonymize recognizable content.
- Private creations are not licensed for model training or public marketing by acceptance of these Terms or this Policy. Such a use requires a separate explicit permission describing its scope and withdrawal options. Hosting, storage and generation providers process content to operate the Service; the operational permission does not grant them an unrestricted training or marketing licence.
- Monitor and secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, record creation-agreement acceptance, and handle safety reports and appeals.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
- Communicate with you about updates, security alerts and support, and review feedback and feature requests.
3. Sharing of Information
We only share personal information as follows:
- Service Providers – cloud hosting, media storage, AI generation, payment processors, analytics vendors and content-delivery networks that help us operate the Service.
- Legal & Compliance – when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect rights, safety or property.
- Business Transfers – in connection with a merger, acquisition or asset sale (with notice to you).
- With Your Consent – where you explicitly authorise us to share data.
Uploaded images and generated images or videos may be processed by our hosting, storage and AI generation providers to provide the Service. We do not make your media public unless you choose to share it.
We never sell your personal data.
4. Cookies & Tracking
- We count aggregate site opens and age and terms gate displays and acceptances, including before you pass the gate. After the gate, we also count whether the Google Analytics tag file loads or fails. These counters use no cookies or persistent browser identifiers and store no IP addresses, prompts, or page paths in the counter records.
- After you pass the age and terms gate, we use Google Analytics to measure page views and actions such as signups, creations, and checkout steps. We may associate a confirmed payment with that browser visit using an analytics identifier. We do not send your prompts, uploaded media, email address, or payment credentials in these events.
- At checkout, we retain approximate country and city, browser language, and a device category with the purchase record for aggregate reporting. This checkout field does not retain your raw IP address or full browser user-agent string.
- We also use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and operate and improve the Service.
- You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not function.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined here, unless a longer retention period is required to comply with law, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
Media Retention: Temporary source-image uploads are kept for up to 14 days after upload, then deleted from our media storage. References explicitly saved to a reusable character remain until you delete the character or your account. Images and videos generated on Vid.Plus, including images saved as part of an AI character, remain in your account until you delete the media, character, or account. You can download your creations at any time while they remain available.
Create History: We save Create chat names, prompts and image settings to your account so you can reopen your work across devices. Deleting an image removes its saved prompt association. Deleting your account removes your Create chats and prompt history.
Agreement and Report Records: We retain the accepted Terms version, acceptance time and the recorded confirmations, and restrict access to them. Content reports contain the details you submit and our review actions. These records may be retained after account or media deletion where necessary for legal obligations, safety, dispute handling or enforcement, for no longer than necessary for those purposes.
Earlier Deletion: You may delete your media, AI characters or account sooner using the available controls. Deleted media cannot be restored. Generation records and information we must retain for legal, security or accounting purposes may remain after the media file is removed.
6. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your jurisdiction where privacy laws may be different. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your personal information.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal data. However, no security measure is unconditional; you use the Service at your own risk.
8. Your Rights
You may have rights to:
- Access, correct or delete personal data.
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Data portability.
- Withdraw an optional permission for future model training or marketing through support@dreamwild.io. Withdrawal does not undo processing lawfully completed before withdrawal or prevent retention required by law.
You can exercise these rights by contacting us at support@dreamwild.io.
9. Delete Your Account
You can request deletion of your VidPlus account at any time:
- Sign in and go to Settings → Delete Account
After a successful deletion request, your media files are removed, access to your account is disabled, and your authentication account is scheduled for permanent deletion after a seven-day grace period. Payment, fraud-prevention and other records may be retained where required for legal or accounting purposes. Contact support@dreamwild.io if the deletion request does not complete.
10. Children's Privacy
- The Service is not directed to children under 18.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
- If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us to delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
- We will post the revised version and revise the "Last updated" date.
- Material changes will be notified by email or prominent notice.
