Key findings

  • Custom motion: all 12 primary test videos completed. Ten tested 20–30 seconds; those observations are listed below.
  • 720p: processing time increased substantially beyond 20 seconds in this sample. The public maximum remains 20 seconds.
  • Template experiments: one experimental 15-second clip took over 13 minutes to process. Longer template durations need more testing before release.

These observations help us choose supported settings. They do not establish a general success rate or compare Vid.Plus with another platform.

About these tests

Test date
October 4, 2026
Custom video sample
Two source images and three motion prompts. Twelve primary tests, including ten clips at 20–30 seconds.
Template video sample
One new video at each of three durations, using an experimental configuration. Repeated requests that reused an existing result are excluded.
Subjects
A clothed café portrait and a tabletop scene for custom motion. The portrait for template videos.
Validation
Full-file decoding and sampled-frame review. This checks file integrity and visible artifacts; it is not a blinded quality study.
Timing basis
Recorded processing time after generation capacity was ready. Waiting before processing is reported separately for template videos. These tests do not measure the complete wait from submission to delivery.

Custom video results

Each row reports the observed processing-time range. A single sample produces one value. Public availability reflects the settings checked on October 31, 2026.

All primary files decoded successfully. Sampled frames showed no black or frozen endings. Small face and hand variations remained, and camera directions were not always followed.

At 720p, 25- and 30-second clips remain research settings outside the public composer. See the video guide for supported durations and credits.

Template experiments

These tests explored longer template durations using an experimental configuration. One new video was measured at each duration, with generation capacity already ready. Waiting before processing combines preparation and queue time.

Experimental template tests · seconds
Clip lengthProcessingWaiting before processing
5s156.5252.9
10s427.40.1
15s785.3156.3

The files decoded successfully and the sampled portrait remained recognizable. Motion was gentle and repetitive. These experiments do not establish quality or processing times for the templates currently available in Create.

The 10- and 15-second settings are experimental, and these tests did not measure the complete wait. Use the duration shown on your selected template when creating.

Scope and limitations

  • Small sample. One to three custom-video samples per setting and one template-video sample per duration cannot estimate typical completion times or a general failure rate.
  • Processing only. The timings do not measure the complete wait from submission to a result appearing in My Creations.
  • Limited content. We did not test every subject, style, action or template. Sampled-frame review does not establish equal quality across creation options.
  • Dated settings. Configuration and behavior can change. Create shows the available settings and final charge before submission.

This report compares settings within Vid.Plus. It is not a benchmark against MotionMuse, Grok or another platform.
